At Auntie Na's Village, giving back is what we do! We believe in a world where we know our neighbors, we take care of each other, and we lift each other up.
The Village needs your continued love and support as it continues to grow! Even though we seemed to have weathered the Covid Storm, there are still people recovering and in need of assistance. The resulting shutdowns and economic collapse have deeply impacted the most vulnerable in our city. To meet our community's needs, Auntie Na's House has stepped our game up! We have continued to sustain and maintain our community and expanded our programs in the face of unprecedented challenges. Before the Covid Pandemic, Auntie Na's Village delivered on average about 15-20 food boxes once a week to families in Detroit. At the height of the pandemic, we scaled up the program to over 400 deliveries a week with the help of mutual aid networks and volunteers! As the pandemic and its effects disperse, we still have families to feed and serve due to the continued food insecurities that present themselves in our city. Often Auntie Na's Village is the only option a family might have. Please continue to Donate to sustain our Food program, our organization, our staff, and our Village. Please consider becoming a Sustaining Donor, and giving monthly, to keep our Village alive and thriving through whatever storm we face. Thank you very much for your generosity! |
